Jeremiah 1:5-10, John 15:16-17,

KJV Jeremiah 1:5-10...Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. (6)...Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. (7)...But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. (8)...Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD. (9)...Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. (10)...See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

In the world of sports, chosen has to do with the elite and most qualified individuals that have been trained over years of athletic competition. There is a selection process called the "draft" which is used to determine which athlete will be chosen by what professional team to help that team become a champion.

In the academic arena, chosen refers to the colleges that are searching for the candidates that have high scores on tests to be considered by that school. We have however found out that the wealthy have ways of getting pass the rules that apply to everyone else for admission to colleges. It is called previliged.

In the workplace, favoritism will most times fall on a family member of the boss or one who becomes what is called the pet of the boss leaving those who have earned a raise or being promoted because they have earned it left behind.

There is however another realm that anyone, the below average, average, too tall, too short, too thin, too fat, can't dribble, pass a ball or catch one, can't do any of what the world say's is needed to become "chosen" ...is chosen because this kind of chosen is what websters dictionary calls "one who is the object of choice or of divine favor: an elect person" or a chosen few.

This is the person (like Jeremiah) who was told by God don't let the fact that the world doesn't want you bother you because before your mama met your daddy, before they kissed each other for the very first time, when you were a thought in their mind before conception...I knew you and ordained you to become a prophet.

When you want to tell God how inadequate you are, how unable you are to do anything the world would call noteworthy...God tells you like he did Jeremiah...don't say you can't. I know you can't...instead say Lord where ever you send me, I will go...I know you will speak for me... through me...and I don't have to be afraid of any anger on anyones face...as David said...Your rod and staff shall comfort me and prepare me me a table in the presence of mine enemies.

So,the no one to the world you, get used to the fact you have been chosen. Walk in it, speak  it. Root out hatred among men and women, pull down envy and strife strongholds, speak the true Word of God to destroy yokes that bind God's people.Throw down that gauntlet that say's for God I live and for God I die.

Build up Faith and encourage those that need a Word from the Lord. Plant seeds of God's Truth in the minds of His people. Live in the security of God's Favor for in times of trouble "Goodness & Mercy" will follow you all the days of your life. ...Have confidence In God because You Have Been Chosen.

Jesus chose 12 ordinary men afraid of their own shadow to walk, eat and stay with Him for 3 and a half years. They watched Him perform miracle after miracle but they felt inadequate to do the things He said they would perform.

He made sure He instructed them regarding a Comforter for them that would instruct them in times of trouble they would certainly experience. He would soon leave them because the reason He Himself was chosen was at hand. He knew the cup He had to bare was before Him but He left these Words for them and you and I.

KJV John 15:16-17...Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. (17)...These things I command you, that ye love one another.
