Luke 1:31-37 KJV

And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God. 31…And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son and shall call his name Jesus. 32…He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall unto him the throne of his father David. 33…And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. 34…Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35…And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called, the Son of God. 36…And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. 37…For with God nothing shall be impossible.

How many are willing to admit, the “spiritual realm” is as real as the one you and I live in every day. Things happen that make you say, did I really see what I thought I saw? No way…I was just seeing things. Well, yes you were and it was real. Such is the case in our message for this month.  A lady is with child who has not known a man, but The Holy Ghost shall come upon her and thru the Power of God she shall give birth to a child who will be called The Son of God. Her cousin is also with child but because of her age, she is way beyond child bearing time. An angel has spoken to both of them making promises to both. It may seem like a made up story but to the believer in The Bible and its Truth’s we know…With God Nothing Shall Be Impossible.

This baby was going to be born because it was his mission, his purpose and was foretold in the Old Testament book of Isaiah chapter 9:6 KJV…For unto us a child is born, unto to us a son is given: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting father, The Prince of Peace. It was His destiny because of sin that entered God’s garden in Genesis… so no matter how much our intellect tells us this is just a story…Faith reminds us nothing was going to prevent God from redeeming His crown creation (man and woman) back to Him…the baby is God The Son sinless so He could take on our sin. In the words of Faith Hills Christmas song…This baby changed everything.

Elisabeth’s child would be become John The Baptist, Jesus cousin preaching in the wilderness repent ye for the kingdom of heaven is at hand and prepare ye the way of The Lord (Matthew 3:2-3 KJV) and would introduce Jesus to Jerusalem and Judea by saying “Behold the Lamb of God who taketh away the sin of the world (John 1:29 KJV) and baptizing Him. It might seem impossible for these things to relate as they do. Cousins pregnant at the same time with 2 babies destined to change history to fulfill God’s plan and purpose. But with God, Nothing Shall Be Impossible.

Has God ever promised you something and you felt for a certainty…this is impossible and not going to happen. If that is you, the promise not happening isn’t because God did not come through. It would be because you spoke it will not happen. Remember Proverbs 18:21 KJV…Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Be careful with your words, if you say such and such isn’t going to happen, because of what you said... it will not.

The second issue would be unbelief or lack of faith. Maybe an angelic being isn’t speaking to you but someone who has great faith in God is…and they speak something that seems impossible to you. Don’t brush it off. The Spirit Filled person has that POWER from on High and can be God’s messenger to you so remember…With man it is impossible but with God…”Nothing Shall Be Impossible”.

For those who believe that with Our God, Nothing Shall Be Impossible this verse tells us how we should respond to what may seem impossible…Luke 1:38 KJV…And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

My prayer for you and your family is to remember The Greatest Gift ever given was Jesus Christ.  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV.

Merry Christmas
