True Power Can Only Be Found Walking The Road Less Travelled. 

                                                                   John 1:14 KJV...

And The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth...

Have you ever read something in the Bible or heard something that hit a spot within your Spirit so strong it won't leave? It was a Christmas Eve message about Jesus..."The Word Becoming Flesh" as the feature scripture states. 

Getting to this point in my spiritual walk with GOD is something that has taken quite a while to learn, Dr. M. Scott Peck wrote, "This is a long, uphill process, requiring much work". But we can gradually develop an inner GOD-Like spiritual power as we go higher in Him, and you will find this "POWER" is only attainable to those who are willing to take the higher, steeper, more disciplined "Road Less Travelled"

We know that GOD possesses all power and wields it most magnificently, but He has always given awesome power to some ordinary people who performed extraordinary feats because of their belief that GOD is still in the POWER-GIVING Business. During a particular Sunday School lesson, my question was Who has more power, the person with the bomb or the person with the word?

In 2nd Samuel Chapters 11 & 12 is the story of David and Bathsheba. David is King, powerful, chosen by GOD to rule over Israel. David has an affair with Bathsheba. She becomes pregnant, and David has her husband Uriah killed to cover up the pregnancy But GOD sends the prophet Nathan to have a talk with him. 

Nathan tells a story of one person who has total power and everything he desires, taking the sole possession of one who has far less. Nathan then asks the King, what should be done? David answers as any powerful person with responsibility over subjects would, "the man who did this should be killed". Nathan the prophet then says to him, "You King are the man". 

When reading this story, pay particular attention to chapter 12:7-12...Nathan speaks words of GOD to David. The King has some power, but his is nothing compared to Nathan the prophet.

In your everyday life, how many times has someone come to you asking for deeper insight regarding an issue that could require someone losing a job, or getting a job, or asking your opinion because they know you are living the life of a Godly person?  The operative words are "Living the life". 

When you realize that GOD has spared your life for His purpose, that He has been too good to you for you NOT to seek a close walk with Him, a deeper relationship with Him and accepting His higher call in your life, that is when you begin to understand the true Power you walk with every day.
