Romans 10:13...For whosoever shall call on the Name of The Lord shall be saved.

The Plan Of Salvation...Romans 10:9 KJV...That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth The Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

In today's world, to be successful you have to have a plan for any and everything. There are plenty of self help books that will help you develop a plan that according to the author can not fail. Yet many who have bought the books and bought in to the author's way of thinking still don't have a plan to provide the security they so desperately desire.

In the 10th chapter of Romans, the Apostle Paul expresses his deep longing for the salvation of Israel. At issue was Israel trying to substitute law righteousness for faith righteousness (verses 2-4) though faith righteousness was available everywhere (verses 5-13). God gave the Jews every opportunity to receive the Gospel but they had not responded in faith (verses 14-21). One may concluded they were stuck in their ways and not willing to consider anything else. Sound familiar?

One problem with this faith righteousness was the need to submit. Verse 3:...For they being ignorant of God's righteousness and going about to establish their own righteousnes, have not submitted themselves unto the righteouness of God. Verse 4...For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. That just sounds way too easy, what is the catch? There is none.

Righteousness is first and foremost a quality ascribed to God ( Psalm 35:24, 28 & 83:10-13). He hates wickedness and loves righteousness (Psalm 45:7 & Isaiah 11:4-5). God want's His people to pattern their lives after Him...spiritually and morally but when kings and leaders neglected to this Israel and it's people failed. The problem with the law was no one could successfully live by it. So God demanded sacricices to atone for the sins of the people. That is why Jesus came.

Jesus came to save man and woman from their sin...not sin's plural. Jesus came to fulfill the law providing His sinless blood as the substitution You and I need to be reunited with our Heavenly Father. To someone reading this asking how is this restoration possible? By faith. Faith to believe verse 9 KJV...Confess with your mouth The Lord Jesus, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and be saved...is simple and is truth...not man's truth...God's Truth and the only book you will ever need for God's plan is The Bible.

Religion causes divisions because if one doesn't believe what this group believes there is a problem. The Apostle Paul said...in Romans 10:10 KJV... For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Forget about religious differences and have faith in this...verse 12:... For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek; for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. Verse 13... For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Are you a whosoever? Yes you are.

Do you want to stop doing the same old things that get you nowhere? Is the latest plan you are now trying to follow satisfying your need? If it is, what your spiritual need? Man's plan is full of problems, God's Plan is not.

Think about this, the same God who spoke over 27 times in Genesis " Let there be" and it became what He said wants to have a loving relationship with you. Nothing He created argued with Him or asked if their opinion could be considered...Until He made us. Sin came into His Garden and the world and man's plans have failed ever since.

How do you get God's plan? On your knees would be the best place to start. Verse 14 asks a very fair question...How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15...And how shall they preach except they be sent? as is is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of glad tidings of good things. 16...But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith Lord who hath believed our report? 17... So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing The Word of God.

The best plan for you is found in The Word of God. For in Him we live, and move and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. Acts 17:28
