Matthew 7:7-11 KJV

Matthew 7:7-11 KJV…Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8…For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 9…Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? 10…Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11…If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

How many remember being with your father passing a deli or department store and you see that one thing you have absolutely got to have. I was born and raised in Chicago and out of all the places to get that favorite sandwich, the one I had to have, was on Maxwell street at the Polish Sausage stand. If you were within a mile of that stand, you could smell them and yes you had to have one. If he didn’t want me to have one because we had already eaten one look at my pitiful face and he was hooked…we were headed to the Polish stand for 2 or 3 sandwiches because I believed he would get them for me.

Like my dad, I am father, grandfather and Great Grandfather and have no strength to say no when they ask for something. Not because I don’t want to get what they want but because they asked. It was important enough (no matter how trivial) to ask and because they did that, I am happy to provide what they asked for.

Our passage from The Gospel of Matthew shows us that same relationship we have with our Heavenly Father. Too many however, don’t believe what they asked their father for will be given to them primarily because they don’t believe or haves faith even though the Bible is full of God’s promises to His children.

Here are a few when you ask…Psalm 34:4 KJV…I sought the LORD, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 37:4 KJV…Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Jeremiah 29:13 KJV…You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

When you seek God…Psalm 27:8 KJV…When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek. Psalm 10:4 KJV…The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts. Matthew 6:33 KJV…But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

When you knock…Luke 13:25 KJV…When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are.

Living on Faith Street, believing what God say’s in His Holy Word allows you answered prayers from Him other’s marvel at. He will honor those things spoken from your heart. That simply means those things you say to Him like Father, I know that one day the home I have spoken to you about will be mine. The job I talked to you about will be mine, that illness the doctors have said I will not recover from is a lie and trick from satan.

You are entitled to benefits or Blessings from God The Father because of your faith in Him. Remember, the Bible say’s in Hebrew’s 11:6 KJV…But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Ask, Seek and Knock… thru faith watch how God will Bless you in ways you never imagined.

God Bless you
