2nd Kings 6:16 KJV...And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be

2nd Kings 6:13-17 KJV…13…And he said, Go and spy where he is, that I may send and fetch him. And it was told him, saying, Behold, he is in Dothan. 14…Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about. 15…And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? 16…And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. 17…And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.  My favorite Bible is “The Spirit Filled Life Bible” KJV by Pastor Jack Hayford , I am now using the 3rd edition. I am not doing a commercial for him to sell more Bibles, I appreciate the contributors he has used over these 3 editions that has helped me with my ministry. For this message, Contributor Dick Eastman writes about “The Invisible Realm and Victorious Warfare” and this realm is as real as the nose on your face. My thanks to a customer of mine who actually gave me the title for this message. Our scripture reference finds the prophet Elisha and his servant Gehazi in a situation where one has unshakeable faith (Elisha) helping the fearful Gehazi by praying for him to see invisible. That is what true men and women of God do for those who are not on their level of faith. Dick Eastman writes (and I am paraphrasing) “To believe the impossible one must first see the invisible” the lesson Elisha taught his servant Gehazi. The lesson for him to learn about this war between Israel and Syria is prayer is the key to victory as well as discerning the adversary’s strategy. The Prayer did not ask God to show the servant another miracle, he asked for his servant to see another dimension and God’s answer was immediate. The Lord opened Gehazi’s eyes and what he saw was astonishing …the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire (God’s Crew) all around Elisha. As you complete this story thru verse 23, you will discover Elisha’s unshakable faith and personal relationship with God not only blinded the enemy but spared their lives. If you are asking why is this important to me? It is just another unbelievable story. I am glad you asked. The answer is “FEAR” and its debilitating effects on our mind and lives. In verse 15, Gehazi is so afraid of what he sees, to him there was no hope. Our eyes see a bunch of the enemy, more than us, greater than us which transmits fear and panic to our mind. But FAITH say’s…if only you could see what I see. This but a light thing to my God and He has my back. One news story the past couple of weeks in Memphis, TN has been the murder of a lady jogging and 4 people killed by a young man who recorded one person he killed on a social media platform and then killed 3 more. The police locked the entire city down until the young man was apprehended. Fear gripped the city. It has become a regular occurrence of people being randomly shot on expressways, streets and stores. This is not unique to Memphis, it is happening everywhere and fear has gripped our city, the United States and the world for a long time. For people who don’t believe in the spiritual realm “fear” has them in a panic state of mind. For those who recognize this demon spirit called fear and call it what it truly is…a spirit…and know this spirit is not from god.  In closing this message, I posted years ago a picture of an innocent lion cub with its mother crouched behind it. The Holy Spirit gave me the words to use with the picture. Fear? Why.
